Mystikal-Back From the River

Came across this and bought it just for the now infamous and highly sought after response from Mystikal to U.N.L.V.'S-Drag 'Em N Tha River
titled "Back From the River".It's a totally new rendition of the song we New Orleans people have known to consider a classic"Here I Go".
Two places I have herd this song, None being on the Internet, Once on the radio in 96' and a clip on the 98' Dj Al presents Bounce-60 minute Louisiana Mixtape which ironically blends it with Drag Em'.
Besides the for mentioned Precise produced song,This promo also came with the Instrumental to "Here I Go",Radio version,LP Version and a very
New York sounding Remix produced by Jesse West with the Instrumental to accompany that.
The Jesse West Remix is awkward because like the Remix to "Out that Boot Camp Clicc" it has a basic NY beat trying to contain a high energy southern rapper and it does not work well.
I will leave you with a snippet of "Back From the River" to wet your appetite expect the full with a lot of other rarities on the MixTape.

Mystikal could have made a million diss songs to combat the venom from "Drag 'Em".
None of them would have made a bigger buzz than that one Song.
People have been re-using that same piano line for years now.
Mystikal had just been drafted to JIVE and really could not put out any music other than what was on his album so he made the B-Side remix to "Here I Go" and it served its purpose.
Think about it, U.N.L.V. made a major artist look back with that one song.Mot only that Mystikal goes in on B.G. in the song too.
Ahh...Memories.

Man, I have literally been looking for this song for over 10 years. I heard it on the Radio like in the mid 90's (out in Baton Rouge) and have never been able to find where it came from.

Do you want to sell this CD? I cant believe one was still in circulation after all this time...

That remix was only released on Vinyl and a hand-full of Cassette's.
That picture is of the sticker in the upper right hand corner of the vinyl folder.
I was like you, I herd it one time and never herd or saw it again so that's why i picked it up when I came across it.
Yea, I would be willing to part with it,Either from a private collecter or some lucky buyer on Ebay.

Dude, please -- pretty please -- post the full .mp3 of "Back From the River." I've been searching for that one track since 1997 and have come up short on all attempts. I've even suggested that Mystikal post the song on his Myspace page. As of now, you're the only hope we Mystikal fans have of getting the track. Please help us!

In Due Time my man, I am about 90% done with this mixtape I'm about to drop.
It's going to have all kinds of re-mixes,Blends and Rare vintage
New Orleans tracks like the one you want on it.
It cost me a pretty penny to obtain that song plus the other stuff I have so please be patient.
It will all be released soon.
